Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology purchases land for construction of state-of-the-art cancer center
Construction set to begin fall of 2014, opening to coincide with group’s 25th anniversary
APPLETON, Wis. – Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology, northeast Wisconsin’s cancer specialists, announces today the purchase of land with the intent to build a 60,000-square-foot facility on Appleton’s north side. This stand-alone facility – to be located near the intersection of North Gateway Drive and East Evergreen Drive – will serve an estimated 300 patients daily when it opens in the summer of 2015.
“We have been serving the Fox Valley community for 25 years and this facility will allow us to provide our patients with the private, high-quality care they deserve,” said Bill Guenther, M.D., founder and physician, Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology. “For the first time, we will be able to offer the best facility combined with the best staff and best treatments to give our patients the remarkable patient experience they deserve. This new center will ensure residents of northeast Wisconsin have the best care available in the years to come.”
Building plans are being finalized with a groundbreaking expected to take place in October. More details will be released at the groundbreaking ceremony.
