FVHO November Survivorship Support Group to discuss gentle yoga and breath work


APPLETON, Wis. (Oct. 31, 2017) – Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology (FVHO), northeast Wisconsin’s cancer care specialist, will host its monthly Survivorship Support Group meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 1:30 ­– 3 p.m. and from 5:30 – 7 p.m.

The meetings are for anyone affected by cancer, including families and caregivers. November’s session will be led by Dana Doke-Prahl, therapeutic yoga teacher at Life’s Journey Wellness, located within FVHO’s Health and Wellness Center in Appleton.

Doke-Prahl will lead a group session in gentle yoga and pranayama, also known as breath work.

Survivorship Support Group meetings take place at FVHO’s Health & Wellness Center, located at 3925 N. Gateway Drive, Appleton, in hopes to connect, uplift and rebuild those who have been affected by cancer.

The Survivorship Support Group meeting is free with no advance registration is required.
