Flannel Check Week aims to raise awareness to help people “Get Checked”

2 Feb 2018 General

Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology’s Health & Wellness Family Care clinic is participating in Flannel Check Week from Feb. 5 – 9.

The goal of Flannel Check Week is to raise awareness and save lives by having people get checked by their primary care doctor in an effort to catch diseases and cancers early.

Dr. Eugene Rigstad, an independent family physician at the Health & Wellness Family Care clinic, has a special interest in pediatrics and preventative health care and encourages his patients to be proactive about their health.

“Flannel Check Week is an incredible and life-saving awareness movement,” said Dr. Rigstad. “As a physician, I love this idea and I hope people do come in to get checked because it’s never too early to prevent a disease.”

Dr. Rigstad is currently accepting new patients. To make an appointment call (920) 702-4890
