Survivorship Support Group
August 10, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology (FVHO), northeastern Wisconsin’s cancer care specialist, will host its monthly Survivorship Support Group meeting on Thursday, Aug. 10, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The meetings are for anyone affected by cancer, including families and caregivers. August’s session will be led by Hope Brock, a state-licensed acupuncturist and owner of Hope with Acupuncture.
Brock will lead a session on the basics of acupuncture and how the practice can help treat numerous health conditions. She will discuss the different types of acupuncture, the benefits to each type, and will conduct a group acupuncture session to give those in attendance a first-hand look at the practice’s benefits.
Survivorship Support Group meetings take place at FVHO’s Health & Wellness Center, located at 3925 N. Gateway Drive, Appleton, in hopes to connect, uplift and rebuild those who have been affected by cancer.
The Survivorship Support Group meeting is free with no advance registration is required.
